    An attorney for a young man who had been seriously injured when he fell from a rockwall at a local fair sought the assistance of Connors LLP after several years of litigation against the corporation that owned the amusement attraction.  Our firm took over the case, and Lawlor Quinlan and Caitlin O’Neil completed discovery and obtained a successful verdict in the liability portion of the trial.  Even after we proved that the defendant’s carelessness caused the client’s injuries, the insurance company still would not pay the policy.

    After a man injured his spine and shoulder in a car crash, he retained Connors LLP to help him pursue a recovery.  At the conclusion of four years of litigation, Lawlor Quinlan obtained a $1.2 million settlement to assist the man who could not return to his job as a carpenter.

    In June 2018, “Dateline NBC” presented the story of the family of Nolan Burch and their struggle to obtain justice for their son. In 2014, Burch had been forced to consume a bottle of whiskey at a fraternity event and then was carried unconscious back to the fraternity house where he later succumbed to alcohol poisoning.

    After four years of litigation, an interlocutory appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and a nearly three-week jury trial in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, a federal jury found two police officers with the Buffalo Police Department "Not Guilty" on all counts of an indictment accusing them of using excessive force toward four teenagers in their custody in May of 2009.
